steelTOOL of the Month!
The current winner is IBC2006E, posted by the always-impressive Alex Tomanovich! A multi-page Excel spreadsheet, this tool looks at seismic loadings per IBC 2006 and ASCE 7-05, using the Equivalent Lateral Force method. Includes sheets for buildings, ground-supported tanks/vessels, non-building structures, architectural & mechanical components, as well as reference maps for Ss, S1 and TL. If you haven't looked at this yet, you should!
powerUSER of the Month!
Our first user of the month is Redem Legaspi, primarily for his two impressive utilities, SteelPro and Welding Capacity Calculator! Mr. Legaspi is a structural designer for Crystal Steel Fabricators in Delaware; if you haven't seen the files he's uploaded yet, take a few minutes to check them out!
Note that both files are executable programs, and thus require a Windows operating system (or a suitably capable virtual host)
