Steel Tools is a free online community for all members of the design and construction industry, sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction. This social networking and file sharing site was launched to give construction industry professionals a platform to discuss and blog on specific topics, set up personal profiles to stay in touch with other contacts based on similar interests or community groups, and to share files or software on various topics as it relates to steel construction and structural design. This community houses all the past AISC Steel Solutions Center Steel Tools in addition to the previous file sharing site set up by AISC known as Steel Utilities Online.
